The National Simmental calf Finals will take place at Strokestown Show on Saturday September 14th featuring five National Classes kindly sponsored by Dovea Genetics. We will also welcome a forty strong contingent of members from N.Ireland for the weekend.

Class 54. National Simmental Senior Heifer Calf born on or between 01-12-23 & 31-01-24
Class 55. National Simmental Junior Heifer Calf born on or after 01-02-24
Class 56. National Simmental Senior Bull Calf born on or between 01-12-23 & 31-01-24
Class 57. National Simmental Junior Bull Calf born on or after 01-02-24
Class 58. National Simmental Polled Calf (bull or heifer born on or after 01-02-24 (Homozygous or Heterozgous Polled)
***** All Exhibitors in the National Classes listed above, who are not placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd will be placed in a raffle for €200 & €150 respectively *****
Class 59 : Young Irish Simmental Handlers Class – Entrants must be aged between 12 & 21 inclusive. Kindly Sponsored by Progressive Genetics. Entry fee €5 – Hillcrest Cup to the winner.
Entries for Calf Finals at Strokestown can be either through Club Finals (€10 entry fee) or Entries can be supplemented direct (not qualified through Club Finals – Entry Fee of €40). (Entry fee of €10 where there is no Club Final)
(Note: calves can only be entered in any one of the above classes)
