Sunday the 21st of November saw the welcomed return of the Carrick on Shannon Winter Fair after a
one year break due to covid. Judge on the day was Fergal Doherty, Bighill Herd Co. Donegal and he had
top-quality heifers put before him for judging, with all heifers being offered for sale the day after in
Mondays sale.
Overall Champion on the day went to a Corlesmore Hank daughter for Martin O’Connor, Strokestown
Co.Roscommon
Following her in Reserve was our judges winner of Class 17, this one an Auroch Deutor daughter owned
by Gerry Fee, Carrigallen, Co.Leitrim
